Purpose: The Soccerdome Academy goals are based around the basic principle of teaching youth the game of soccer. With a knowledgeable and friendly expert staff, the academy will provide invaluable experiences for players to learn the basics, develop skills, and truly understand the game to take them to the next level. With a fun and safe learning environment to develop soccer specific skills, the academy will also play an important role in developing social skills and leadership abilities. The academy will provide different curriculum types based on ages as follows:

           

            Tots (ages 4-6): The curriculum base for the ‘Tots’ age group will be based on developing critical body movement, dexterity and learning the basic movements, skills, and rules in the game of soccer. It is most important to have a strong base development of body movements such as balance for running and kicking, body control, and body awareness. The academy will provide drills and games to keep players of this age engaged and interested while learning the necessary tools to become better athletes and soccer players while growing. **note: Tots sessions are only available for one per day per child-players may not come to both sessions** Please click the link below for an overview and sample itinerary for a week at the Tots Academy:

 

            Juniors (ages 7-12): The curriculum base for the ‘Juniors’ age group will be more specific to developing and mastering more advanced techniques and tactics to propel players to the next level. Drills and games will be broken down into specific topics to ensure proper mastery from every angle from the game. It is important for players at this age to learn the proper advanced techniques in order to excel at the next/higher level. ‘Juniors’ will be instructed in both technical and tactical aspects. Please click the link elow for and overview and sample itinerary for a week at the Junior Academy:

 

Overview: The Soccerdome Academy is committed to providing a fun and safe learning environment with a friendly expert staff to build and develop youth between the ages of 4 and 12. Players will not only develop necessary skills for the game of soccer, but will also learn cooperation, teamwork, and leadership abilities. The academy will teach youth players understanding of the game and how to properly train to continue to grow and excel in the game and life.
